Dear all,
after the announcement of our participation to the five rounds of the 2021 Historic Tour, we are now in position to confirm the rest of our programe: the French Historic Grand Prix at Le Castellet (June 11-13), the Young Timer Festival at Spa-Francorchamps (July 16-18) and for those who are interested the Marcel Albers Memorial Trophy at Zandvoort (May 21-23).
The 2021 calendar
April 9-11: Albi / May 7-9: Dijon / May 21-22: Zandvoort (hors Trophées) / June 11-13: GP de France Le Castellet / July 16-18: Spa-Francorchamps / September 3-5: Val de Vienne / September 24-26: Charade / October 22-24: Lédenon.
Our first participation to the French Historic GP, surrounded by F1s, F2s and F3s from all Europe will take place in a group shared with Challenge FF Historic. It will be anoutstanding event and so will be the conditions of our entry: first class paddock, Driver's Club, gifts...Only drawback: being not "historic" enough, Zetecs will stay home which implies that the event will not qualify for our Trophées.
We will go and race again at Spa-Francorchamps in July and, here as well, thanks to a partnership, this time with FFR and Challenge FF Historic. We are expecting even larger grids than in 2019 with, for instance, more than 50 cars in the 100% FF1600 races ! Zetecs are of course welcome and the event will qualify for the Trophées.
Dijon will be a third event with a partnership, since we will be joined by FFR and HSCC (FF2000).This allows us to plan for two separate groups of more than 30 cars each of which one will be 100 % FF 1600.
Finally, we will propose to the FF 1600 drivers a non-championship group expedition to the Marcel Albers Memorial Trophy at Zandvoort on May 20-22. For this event our Club's only role will be to help our drivers for sumitting entries and for communicating with the organizers.
One more word about our prices. They will remain unchanged for Albi, Dijon, Charade, Val de Vienne and Lédenon but will suffer a modest raise for Spa. The French Historic GP is an exception since the prices will match the prestige of the event and the proposed package. As regards the Trophée entry fee, its price will be raised modestly. Our prices will be published within the coming days and the entry forms will be available shortly after. Important: don't send money until January 1st, 2021.
Needless to say that these nice plans could be jeopardized by the sanitary situations but, for the moment, we are happy to propose this well ballanced and exciting programme, at least so we feel.
One more word to express our gratitude to our friends at HVM Racing, Challenge FF Historic and FFR.
Happy preparation winter to all !
